Default Furtive Friday

well, a bit of a busy week. Lots of picture edits:maternity session, wedding, and kids! This is my busy time of the summer; got 2 weddings done, 2 more to go, all in 14 days.

Drove the Porsche to work yesterday; top was done both to and from work. Love those nice sunny days! Drove it today too, even though we might get some rain. My car gets wet; no concours treatment for her We have people watching the kids at our house, so my wife and I drove to work together. We'll go topless on the way home; maybe my wife will too

This weekend I have kid duty while she and her mother enjoy "Wicked" at a theater in Milwaukee. Sunday is our local club's Concours event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Milwaukee Porsche club. Pics to follow, as I'm the official photog for the event.

What about you?

Got the next installment of "Sheffield Supercar Sunday" this weekend with a breakfasat meet and drive out across the peak district. Lots of people coming from all over in a whole host of exotic cars so should be good. Will be spending tomorrow morning preping the car for that and making sure she's nice and shiney.

That's the spirit Hawk! You might have to surprise her with a little "detour" parking spot! BTW, "Wicked" is awesome!

No big adventures for me this weekend...just lots of cruising around running errands. Even years after I've purchased my car, I still get pretty excited about just driving it around...but I'm sure we all get the same feeling

Planning to go to the local tractor/truck museum Steamup. I love seeing the old equipment chuffing away. It also feeds my blacksmith jones.

Udo, we saw it a few years ago in Chicago, and now it's in Milwaukee for a limited engagement. She's taking her mom; I'm home editing wedding pics.

I got nothing. Going to spend most of tomorrow mowing and bush hogging my yard and property. I need to back both cars out in the driveway latter today so the afternoon thunderstorms can wash them

Jim, fly me down and I'll wash and dry them off for you. The drying part involves a high speed blower though- down any good stretch of LEO-free highway!

Looks and sounds fun. Please tells us about it.

My weekend should be pretty easy. I have to make a few runs to the dump. Need to troubleshoot why the check engine light keeps coming on on the GF's Honda. I suspect the car needs a new gas cap gasket. She also wanted to put down mulch on a part of the new flower/shrub bed.

Otherwise, I plan on watching a few movies and if I have time, to remove my sunroof's headliner and reglue it.

believe it or not, the coolant level in my GP affects the check engine light.

The GF's Honda's check engine light was a gas evaporative fault (again). I checked the gas cap and the rubber seal is rock hard. I ordered a new cap this morning.
