Other sources want $60 for it. Where does it connect to? Where's the switch located? Anybody know?

My plastic handle finally died the death of elderly plastic, replaced it, and am having trouble with the cable slipping. A power latch would be a godsend!

It's not a power hood latch, that electrical connector is for a microswitch which appeared on later model cars. I believe the switch simply indicates an open or closed hood.

Damn! Here I'd hoped for something better then that cable kludge. Thanks!
