Oil- Over the yeas i have used either Valvoline VR1 20-50 or Bradpenn 20-50
Regarding the 4/all wheel drive- I have had one issue. I had to replace the "rear bearing for the front drive shaft output". I am sure that means more to most of you than to me but it wasn't cheep. Parts $50. Labor $2,400. Otherwise the system has been flawless.
