Famous 964R Finally Available
After all the magazine shoots, events, attention and fun I am finally able to let someone else share the spotlight with this amazing work of art. As many of you followed the build or contacted me through Rennlist, I thought I'd put it up here....They don't get much prettier, faster or fun than this.

I was in Montreal last weekend for the Grand Prix and met 3 Norwegians from Oslo who claim that they were interested in your car...
I have a business card from one of them if you want info.

Thanks guys....I hope you win the lottery....I know if I did, I'd be onto a new house first with a 10-car garage!...then the fun would start.
There is a next car in mind....its taken almost a year to decide what to build that would surpass this one...all I can say, is it will a "surprise" when unveiled!
Guys from Norway?...I get emails from all over the world, I wonder if I've chatted with them. Too bad I was in Montreal last week as well for the F1....sure Zen pass anything along...always appreciated!...and one of the reason I will never wander far from this forum

How is it possible I didn't know about a Rennlist party in Montreal? I work in the sport so my free time is very limited at a GP, but for that....I would have MADE the time to meet some of you guys....

Yeah, too bad! Matt Lane, the organizer, posted the info in this forum too IIRC. There were over 40 people.

Bummer....sorry I missed that...sounded like a lot of fun.
BTW, that video shot you posted from Friday is where I watched the first 7 laps of the GP standing right next to the jumbotron before I went back to the pits. That's a really excellent viewing point. Fun to watch the guys come out of the pits at full chat as well....

Yeah, that was a great spot. I saw a bunch of people come in and out of that gate, made me wish I had one of those fancy passes too
Next year I'm going to try to get tix for Grandstand 11 - it's even better. You see the front straight AND pit lane along with turns 1 and 2.

Should we start a poll and guess what country the car ends up in? Qatar, Germany,...Norway?
I hope someone in North Carolina buys it so I can see it in the flesh.
I'm guessing the next project is a Longhood with a GT3 motor (and Gen 1 PCCB carbon brakes, air adjustable suspension and electric motor mounts)? I know you like the challenge...
You probably want to keep it secret right now, but can you say if it will at least be a 911? Good luck and enjoy your new project.

My wife took that pic.. Great drive back from Montreal! Making the cop pull back because there were too many of us was icing on the cake. Safety in numbers never felt so good because I thought I was toast.
