The 964 RSR is the Daddy of 964s. Wicked to drive fast around Spa.
The 964 Cup is 95% of the RSR
M003 RS is for the road.

What I want to know is if you guys in "Rest Of World" would bail on 964s if you only (in practical terms) had access to our sad sack poser models????

List A
ROW
1 RSR 3.8
2 N-GT or Cup (not fussy)
3 RS Touring

List B
USA
Black (widebody) Speedster
964 Turbo S
911 Celebration

Fortunately, I live in the UK so I get the choice of proper 964's
so only list A applies.

You probably have more 964 Cups than in Europe! Not many were made

1990 50
1991 112
1992 120
1993 15

964 RSR 49 cars

M003 ( N-Gt) 300 cars

You could always move to Europe!

Most of the cars I would pick are not street legal for the US. 92 turbo S, RS etc.

I love the turbo S package cars not that the flachbaus aren't sweet but none of them came in cobalt so I would have to stick with my 94T. The RSA is nice but not worth extra money over a comparable C2 IMO. So I would stick with these US imports, The turbo for street use the RS3.8 for street/track and the Cup for track. If you can find an RSR 3.8 that would be cool too.

1. 964 RS3.8
2. 964 turbo 3.6 (the one I own)
3. 964 cup car

I sold my Turbo 3.6 over the winter and still regret it! I did'nt need to sell it and now looking back on it what a mistake it was.

You know how many times I have heard that. I haven't seen much inventory on the market lately either. There a number of turbo S's though.

Maybe swap the M003 for your cobalt 3.6 T as it looks sweet.

Good list!

I had a great RSA prior to my current 3.6T. While I really enjoyed the RSA and wish I still had it, I don't regret the move to the 3.6T. Both cars are very entertaining in different ways. The RSA was like a well tuned athelete while the 3.6T is more like a rip your face off German muscle car. At the end of the day, both cars will bring you home with a big grin!

Schmidtwerk - sorry to hear you let yours go.

I missed this thread last month, but wanted to weigh in...

For US (to 4 list):
1) '94 Speedster (got it)
2) '92 US Cup
3) '94 3.6 Turbo
4) '93 or '94 RSA

For ROW:
1) '94 Widebody Speedster
2) Any 964 RS

My $0.02,
-B
