Can anyone tell me whether Infinity Kappa 462.9cfp speakers will fit correctly in the rear deck of the 964. I don't want to have to cut/modify anything and would like to re-use the existing grilles. Crutchfield says that they don't fit, but I get the feeling that others have used these or their older predecessor models successfully.

Tim, I did install the Kappa 462.9 CFP's in mine, and they fit no problem, mind you there were aftermarket speakers installed already, and it looked to me like the plastic mounting plate had been cut to make room for the other speakers, no big deal though. The stock grill was reinstalled, but would not snap into place, so I put a bit of velcro in there to hold them in place, looks completely stock from the outside. Speakers sound great.
