Hello folks,

Just realised I should get some engine oil in for topping up (haven't had the car long). Which oil should I go for in the UK?

The paperwork from the last service didn't specify and I did a search but didn't find anything specific to UK climate/availability.

If you're just topping up then it's not too big a deal - just use the correct grade (sorry, I don't know it off the top of my head). If you're doing a full oil change don't be tempted to go too thin or go for fully synthetic oil - there are lots of places it can leak out :-)

Alot of the Indies in the UK. use Castrol Magnatec 10W40.
