Could be like the Seinfeld episode where George bought the Lebaron cuz he thought Jon Voight had owned it... LOL.

Solid colors (GR, black, white) for Porsche would be single-stage up to around mid-'95 or so, IIRC. Their metallics would be clearcoated since at least the early '80's, if not earlier.

When I was looking, there was a '91 964 cab almost identical to this one on the market in SoCal, that said it was originally registered to Christian Slater. There was also an '87 3.2 in the bay area that the guy said was originally registered to "Charlie Sheen, Malibu, CA".
Interesting, but I thought: "Did they they drive 'em drugged, or undrugged???"
I decided there was a downside to a celebrity car.

I do like the color scheme on this one.

All that crap of who owned it or how many layers of paint/cc it has aside it appears a very tidy car. I'd be tempted if I was still looking. Wonder what his reserve is? Unless it was a staged garage photo session it appears this guy has good taste in cars.

Well, I hope whoever buys it sorts out the 'time capsule' ride height!

That's funny! and sad but true! Maybe it's just "locked up" all the time?!
