Default length of c2 axles

I found a set of half shafts on craigslist I am looking to buy.. He said he doesnt know if they would work on a 1990 c2 964 because he says he used a turbo trans? He says the total length of the axle is 18-7/8 inches. I am replacing my axles/cvj's because I get a grinding sounds (from the rear) when taking turns at sharper angles or taking turns under acceleration (CVJ's right? or wheel bearings?). I was wondering if anybody knew the correct length for a c2 axle? He says there is no part # located on them. Here are some pictures, would they work?

Thanks.

Not sure what the length should be. Turbo Axles are longer (and Stronger) to match the wider trailing arms. Splines are the same and will go into the G50/52 Turbo trans.

I have a stock c2 NA trans.

so would it be safe to say I could swap the cv joints from these turbo axles onto my NA axles? Do they use the same cv joints or could I use the "stronger" cv joints on my NA axles?

I am just trying to avoid spending a ton on cv joints/axles for right now..

The part numbers for the C2 and turbo CV's are different. Not sure if they are interchangable.

C2 - 911-332-030-01
Turbo - 928-332-030-08

I think they will work but it is a lot of work to do that swap.

How much are the C-2 axels rebuilt?
