You're welcome KD
That's the easiest solution. The alternative is spacers which sandwich between the wheels and hubs and require you to replace the Factory studs with longer ones. Not a diy job unless you own or have access to a machine press and very well-equipped garage.

I guess we can all agree that it comes down to personal preference. As long as they fit and perform and you like how they look, it's all good.

It depends on the specific wheel. In this case, we're assessing a Porsche 993 7 x 16 front wheel with 55mm offsets. In this case, spacers would not be necessary.
You should look for wheels with offsets between 52-55mm front and rear, otherwise, you may need spacers.

bought them today and they look great, but I havent mounted them yet. Turns out the rear is 16x9 70mm offset.... sure hope it fits... front will fit fine @ 16x7 55mm offset. BTW- are the rear fenders on 964 pretty easy to roll?

You've got me there. Here's a closer view, and the Cup 2's I had on my old slate grey coupe. For the record the Turbo 3.6 Speedlines would be my top choice on a 964.

kboustani- Please see the link attached. You will find more information about Porsche wheels which will fit without the need for spacers.
On the main page:

Best Porsche wheel/offset guide I've yet seen. Pic/weights/dimensions/offsets all in one place.
How bloody convenient. I'd guess that those 944 lads aren't such dirtbags after all.
