Questions on mounting belts
3 days in to owning my red beauty I today placed an order for a Sparco EVO, and Sabelt 6p harness. A Heigo cage is on it's way too.
I am trying to find the best (least drilling) way of mounting the harness down under the seat and stumbled across this part;
996.521.933.90 Cross member 6 point seat belt.
Anybody know if it will work under the mentioned seat (with sparco sidemounts)?

There was chatter over similar on the 997 GT3 forum, so it's fresh on my mind. My very robust, though self-made, slider mount didn't fare so well when I wrecked RSA #1 in a race. Thankfully I had a rear impact; the crappy seat back brace held everything in place.
And there is no way I would put not drilling holes ahead of proper belt mounting. That said, you do have the outer anchor available at the stock 3-point attachment.

I got the 9030 mount pictured below (for the 996) as I had read it fit - it did not. Now there is a 9035 for 964's that might work better (not available when I went though harness mounting a few years back).
FWIW, many sanctioning bodies frown on using the same bolts holding the seat in to mount the belts too which is essentially what these bars do - check before buying and installing.
