Default Spring question

Hey guys i just removed my front springs from my turbo they are black with a green dot, i think that means M30 springs. I have H&R reds im about to put on but they feel a lot softer than the spring im taking off, ie. i can push them down easier....is this normal??? I thought the H&R were supposed to be stiffer.

Thanks

I *believe* the HR's are progressive. So they'll be softer for part of the compression distance. I'm sure that someone else will chime in to deny/confirm.

That is my understanding too. Everything I've read indicates the Reds are stiffer than the Greens, and are meant for the Turbo... but I'm no expert...
