Default right indicator problem

guys, past few months the right indicator has been slowly failing. started out occasional "quick" rhythm like you get when a bulb has gone, but never lasted long. this last week has got much worse, and finally was in state of constant fail. seemed to be the front indicator bulb was the only not lighting up, so i changed it but no improvement. tried swapping the left-right front bulb+bulb holders, and neither works on the right side, but is fine on the left.

so, is this a deeper electrics problem - like a wiring loom fail or something? what is the best next step to discover where the problem is?

cheers, andrew

Usually a bad earth (ground), check the brown wire on the back of the light. All connected back through a splice to MPVI (MP6) which is the collection of brown wires you see bolted next to the Central Electric (Fuse!) box.
