+1 on the Delvac
In the colder Northeast, the very first 1st--->2nd and 2nd--->3rd shifts on a cold engine have a little notchiness. no big deal.

I'm using redline... only in the winter months is there a little bit of a notchy feel while coming out of 1st and second gear...

After 5 minutes of driving all is fine. I live in a very warm climate though...

Can't comment on any other brands.

You do not want to use Redline MT 90 in 964 transaxles...They require a GL5 lube because they have steep hypoids...MT90 is a GL4 rated lube, great for 944's but not in a 911...You want to use Redline 75w90 NS. I'd get the MT 90 outta there

The 75w90 NS is the one I'm running... can't complain about it, but not special either. It just does the job.

+1

After writing the post I posted earlier, I researched this through Redline and was advised to go with the NS, which I did. Their site now has a pretty cool feature where you can search your vehicles' and find the recomended fluid type. Anyway I am thinking about putting the MT90 into my 944, but have been using the shock-proof oil from Redline.
