Funny, the worst drivers I generally see around here are in Subaru Outbacks with 3 or 4 dogs jumping around, a Starbucks cup in one hand, and the cellphone in the other.
The world will be better off when all the hippies die off.
Unfortunately, I'll be dead with them.
Sitnky, looks like a new fender and a rocker panel and your good to go. If there is the slightest bit of damage to an oil line, have the insurance replace it .
Update: finally got the car into the body shop this week (had to wait for a new fender from Germany - presumably it was shipped by a Zeppelin flying into a headwind . Oil send/return lines are slightly dented but I will wait until I can get the car running nice and hot to worry about them - it's never gone above 8 o'clock on the gauge before, and has zero oil leaks, so hopefully that will still be true.
On the bright side,
#1) the body guys are the best around and should have that side of the car looking new (without the few stone chips & door dings that were there before)
#2) it's been snowing and raining here... I wouldn't be driving the old beast anyways.
Edited to add: I'm taking CT944's advice, and am getting a new windshield put in (at cost), plus a little cosmetic work on the bumper and bonnet. So even though I'd rather not get run into, it should be somewhat of an improvement.

If you're going for a new windshield, I would strongly recommend an original Porsche one, with a Porsche OEM gasket. The other ones just don't fit. They are really expensive, but worth it, as they wont' leak like the other ones. I got the parts from Sunset (Portland OR) and with the PCA discount it helped with the pain.
I did a very similar deal, having some rust dealt with at the bottom of the windshield... The damage was caused by a non OEM windshield and seal.
