Default Best looking rear spoiler on a 964

Hello guys,

I'm going to have some cosmetic work done on my car in the next month or so and whilst I'm at the spray shop I would like to get a fixed wing!

I've done a few searches with no real anwers, so I would ask you to post your opinions and images of what you think is the best spoiler (fixed or otherwise)

Cheers

I'd go for the wing off of an RS America or from a 3.2, or a Ducktail. I don't think the 964 suits the big wings like the 993 does.

Just my $.02...

On a narrow-body, I would agree either the OE motorized, or RSA.

Although, an carbon fiber body-colored RSA replica ain't bad either...

(not that I'm biased!)

Regards,

Dave

Keep in mind that most wings are HEAVY!
Down-force at track speed is one thing, but 50+ lbs. at the very back of a 911...
(if you like retro) I vote duck!

do you have a Targa... with black wheels... yes, duck!

I agree that the RSA tail is a good look. I have a glass replica on mine and like it, but I have always wondered if I should have gone with a 993 RS fixed tail. Those are gorgeous and still should fit in well with the lines of the 964 body style. I don't think that the big bi-plane styles do not look good. I'd pass on the ducktail too as I don't like the look on the later body styles. To each his own though.

On a NA car the RSA tail, sleek but still substantial. On a WB, the turbo tail.

What he said. I think the ducktail compliments the lines of the 964 far better than the tea tray jobs

I have an older turbo tail on mine(like hawk's above), I like it better than the rs due to the black rubber accent and the black painted louvers, I think it works with the other black accents on the car like the lower body trim and the window frames. My car is a guards red coupe, sorry, don't have pics on here yet.

I vote for the 3.8 RS wing.
