Thanks

tbh I've been thinking RSA for a while now, which I thought was a winner, but thought I'd offer it up to the Rennlisters for some good advice.

Previously I thought the duck was a bit naff having seen it on the MA Shaw website, but that picture is, well... awesome!

Now im completely torn :S

Best suppplier? MA Shaw?

I agree that turbo and 3.8 wings look way too big on a NB 964 unless the car has an aggressive front spoiler and is mainly for track use.

RSA tail for a fixed wing looks best. But unless it's on a black car I'd paint the edge flat black to look like a rubber lip. Lonnie might chime in here, he's done an amazing job fooling everyone into thinking that his tail is a factory piece

I had the MA Shaw tail on my first 964 and fit and finish were pretty good although the paint shop complained about a few spots. Here's what the completed product looked like:

Stay stock. The best thing about the 964 is it's visual ties to the past. The older it gets, the better it will look with the stock set up. You would never put a big spoiler on an older car unless you raced it. That's just me, make your car how you want it to be.

I like my fiberglass faux RSA tail (below).

Here's more of what it looks like in comparison to a genuine RSA's.

And here's the set-up and aftermath of that black edge spray can job.

Strosek rear wing.

A little different than most on the road or on here.

I was looking into a fibreglass one of those but wasn't too sure how it looks on a NA. Widebodies can carry a more substantial rear wing.

Side profile. It is quite a large wing.

I was strongly considering an RS tail until I saw a RS in real life with a very astute Ms. Heeler, ‘That is a silly picnic table, we could have serve sandwiches to our friends off that crazy thing. I like yours (stock), classic lines at slow speed, but gets the job done when it matters’
