Pathetic, same for the low miles one in the 70's. Those sellers are in dream land

Did anyone send a message to the guy asking if that was a typo, that he intended to start the bidding at $22,500 and not $225,000? Would be interesting to see the response.

I think the novelty of having 001 is worth a small premium, but this is nuts !

That car is heavily modified and track riddled...

Might be worth 50 tops ! IMHO

I think it would be worth more if it had beeen left stock and not raced.

Too bad that #001 isn't in mint/unmolested condition. Any value it had is gone after they race prepped it. Who cares about results.

That $79.5 car is my old RSA. Sold it in 2004 for $40k to finance my Euro Cup purchase. Stunning car, but not worth anywhere close to that kind of coin.

Sounds like they don't want to sell it on Ebay. Good way to get cheap advertising. We are all discussing it and I am sure it is a hot topic on other forums. The thought that anyone would entertain anything near that price is so ludicrous it has to be a ploy to get attention.

I would agree this car is worth $50k tops and doubtful if it is worth that. But it will find a new home eventually.

Cool. You have the racing seats that replaced the original RSA seats or the RSA seats?

Also interesting that 50K was considered on the high side in 2010. And now non-RSAs are in that same ball park.

The car was bought from that post, returned back to stock and then I believe sold over-seas.

I have a few of the racing items.

I am thinking that I will sell the seats so if anyone is interested pm me.
