Does anyone know if I can use a 993 Speedo in my 964? Mine just quit

Before you replace your speedo, verify that your speed sensor on the transmission is not at fault. About 10 years ago, my speedo quit. The dealer found a defective speed sensor was the cause.

clean the contacts on the connector on the back of the speedo

And check relay, don't remember which one Maybe the one for DME?

I belive it is the Speed Frequency Converter relay in R52 ( on c2) that you are thinking about. Porsche partno: 964.618.221.00
