I'm in;
Emailed PerfectPower about international customers and just got this response -
"We do accept paypal. We have not shipped to Australia, so I do not know what the shipping fees will be. The package dimensions of the strut brace are: 42"x3"x3" and it weighs 4 lbs.
Regards,"

Correct - I would think the rigidity of the bar does not matter as it is not subjected to bending forces (only tension and compression).
The rigidity of the joint to the top mount would matter though if you consider the struts and bar like a trapezoid - with cornering, the angles at the joints would tend to want to change and a good strut bar would both pull or push the other strut to keep the relationship the same (hence the tension and compresion forces) but also keep the angles the same.

I think what Unkle was referring to, was that the stock top mounts are rubber, so there is a layer of squidge insulating the suspension from the body, and hence having the very last word in rigidity might be moot.

Is the group buy limited to the 964 bars only? I'd be interested in getting in on the group buy but I need the 993 version. They might be exactly the same, it wasn't entirely clear to me from their web site.

Just didn't want ppl to get too hung up on the rigidity.
It still is a very nice brace

Just emailed Sol at Perfect Power and they have a small number of the strut braces that will be ready for shipping early next week.
They will be priced at $275 (US) plus shipping from Chicago, Il.
I asked for a group discount and was told that if we can get 20 or more they will reduce the price by $15. Not really any significant amount and hardly worth all the work to get that number together. Or am I wrong?
Anyway, lets start a count. I know that a couple of us have already put our names in with Sol but let's get a count here and then decide how to put in the order.
OK, I'm number 1.
