The sliders have mounting holes on the bottom that line up with the Factory mounting points--both the Recaro's and Sparco's. You attach them to the brackets, first, and then bolt them to the Factory mounting points.

The '92 C4 had a used Autopower bar and some Kirkeys with modified stock sliders.

RSA #1 had a Safety Devices cage and the same Kirkeys, but fixed mount.

The yellow 993 (basically the same car, right?) as I bought it equipped and have never taken apart, has (I think) a good bolt in roll bar and Recaro fixed back seats with sliders.

RSA #2 is 100% stock, and while those seats are heavy they do work really well!

you have 3 choices for sliders,
1) oem manual double locking which are hard to come by
2) Recaro flat
3) Sparco

I tried #2 & 3, w/ 2 being best, but they won't bolt on, at best you will need to drill a couple of holes in the sliders at worst you will drill a whole new set of holes. It will depend on how much leg room you need.

No, it will be a royal bit** for some of the seats not so much for others it all depends on what seat and sidemount and slider combo you choose.

I am mostly familiar w/ Recaro, the wider the seat the harder it will be to fit, the longer your legs the harder it will be to fit,

widths from narrow to wide
oem Cup & SPG < oem RS & pp < SPG XL

which seat also depends on your shoulder height, you need a straight run(or just a tad down) from the top of your shoulder to the harness attachment on the rollbar.

SPG XL and GT3 seats are most flexible in this regard

How about the fabricate-your-own option? Always fun first thinking you can knock something out in 1/2 day, then on day 2 you wonder what you were thinking.

(You can tell which option I usually start with.)
