Default Sway Bar Sizes

How do I find out what size sway bars , front and rear are on my stock 1990 "L" C2.
From what I can see in the PET it's 20mm front and 21mm rear (or it could be 19mm).

I searched on here before buying new bushes and found that they should be 20 and 21. I then confirmed this by simply measuring mine with a vernier just to be sure that these were actually fitted to the car before buying the bushes.

I just measured my sway's this weekend and they are indeed 20MM (F) and 21 MM (R). No adjustability. I am in the process of deciding a sway bar set-up as I'm preparing for a suspension set-up. I'm currently on old stock shocks and ride ht. I've got an early 91 C2.

Boxey, did you stay with your stock 20/21 bars, or did you change them out? Your car looks low and mean.... Nice! TIA

I stayed with the stock bars and had KWV3 suspension fitted. The car handled so well since having that done that I've not felt the need to the change the bars...It's me as the driver that's now holding the car back rather than its setup

Thanks Boxey,

I am so confused on which direction to go on suspension. I'm now strongly considering Eibach Cups, and Bilstein Sports that were the hot ticket years ago. Apparently they match up to the Andial set-up for the US Cups. The KW's are fabtastic, but very expensive. Your car looks so good, and I'm glad to hear the stock sways worked for you.

I kept my stock sway bars when I got my HR greens and Bilstein sports, why not just get your shocks and springs done first and see what you think. Is it a big job to do the sway bars after if you felt it needed it, would you need to remove the shocks to replace the sway bars?

The sway bars are an easy job. A little bit of wiggling and they will come right out. I had issues with my C4 only because of that darn differential in the front.
I have Reds, Bilsteins, and H&R bars front and back, very minimal body roll, almost too stiff for daily driving.
On the track, the set-up is great.
