Default Grey / Silver Interiors

I have been looking at some 964's with nice interiors. I'd really like to see what a grey / silver interior looks like with over 100k miles on it.

Can anyone post some photos?

How well do the grey interiors age / wear?

Thanks all!

Here's mine. 125,000KM. Bought it at 117k (see first photo) and the interior is exactly the same as the day I purchased it. I don't drive it everyday as it's a summer toy but as long as you take care of the car and clean it, the quality of the 964 interior is top notch.

Thanks for the pics!

Is there an even lighter grey interior? I know there's Linen, also.

I am looking at a car with a grey interior. But it has a black dash, black steering wheel, and the strip along the top of the door panels is black too.

Is that normal? A different interior option, maybe?

I really like the car but I am worried that the interior will get dirty as it gets old. I want to keep the car a long time.

As was said before, the quality of the materials is good. Here's mine...taking more of a two tone approach with new wheel. Adding black Recaro PP's next.

Nice wheels JonnyGo1....I have to/want to replace my OEM boat wheel. The black ties in nicely with the black dash inserts. I also want to replace the shifter with the Rothsport short shift.

Crank, I don't know if there are different shades of grey, I've only seen the ones pictured. But then again, Porsche will do anything as long as you had money so there might be some different shade out there.

Did 964's with grey interiors ever have full black dashes, black steering wheels, and a black strip along the top of the door panels?

1989 C4. Please note the old style glove box and knee pad (prior to air bags being standard).

mine was grey, now its black lol

in fact the a pillars are still grey!

i ditched the lower dash, and have a panel to install where the radio was which holds the camera recorder which is currently mount under radio position, and i will reuse the airbag cover, which has still to be covered like the dash.

This is two-tone light grey-black in a late 3.2. In Germany you could order it also in early 964.

But this light grey is very difficult to handle: cleaning, scratches etc.

I've seen some mid to late '70 Corvettes with silver leather from the factory. Always thought they were cool.
You guys are giving me expensive ideas again......

Hi Bernd,

How many miles does this interior have on it?

I am interested to know how you take care of the interior, how you keep it clean.

Thanks!
