OT, but what do you think of the car storage lifts and do you have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Scott

I have a Danmar 4post and a Bendpak 4post, both great lifts. The Danmar was only $1800 delivered. www.asedeals.com. I also have a 2 post Bendpak. Awesome products.

Thanks, although unfortunately I'm putting the 964 up for sale in the spring- the 360 was the ONLY car I'd sell it for....I really don't want to sell it however, but don't want to tie up too much money in the cars- I know I'm going to regret it, I really do...took me so long to find the right 964 and that was 9 years ago!

Regarding the lift question, I have a "superior lift"- what I found in researching it is there are several companies that market these things and I think they are all made the same- all seem to have the option of made in USA steel or foreign(China I presume), and normal height or optional SUV height (which goes up a little higher). I bought the made in USA SUV model as we used to park a higher car under whatever car is up on the lift. Don't forget to factor in re-routing your garage door however when pricing up these things. I don't have the beakdown available, but I think it cost me close to $5K a few years ago for the lift (as I said with made in USA and SUV options, as well as aluminum ramps) AND re-routing the garage door, a new side motor garage door lift and all the labor. The lift was probably about $3K of that including installation...

Thanks Blue, I have an 8yr old son that may not want to share . Best thing about the shop is that it's only 1.2 miles from my home.
