Default Mounting H4 Headlights

The H5 Headlights mount to a frame that in turn screws to the body for a solid instalation. I am trying to install my H4's but find the mounting very flimcy, does anyone have a picture of the EURO installation? does it have a similar frame, or are the mounting points completely different?

Thanks in advance.

I have H4's on my cab. When I first installed them, the mounting seemed flimsy too. They are held on with the lip at the top and a single screw at the bottom. Its been over 12 years since I installed them and they have been solid the whole time. I'll be interested to hear if mine are installed the way as everyone elses.

I did mine (on both cars) the same way Rob, no issues on track or street.

Rob & Ilko, sound good, that answers my questions. I did install them the same way and they seem solid, but was thinking that over time time they could come loose from the small lip at the top and fly off under heavy braking. I may be worrying too much.
Thanks

You must have very good brakes.

Mine are mounted the same way, with no problems.

That would give a new meaning to the eyes popping out

My experience: Big Reds, 2700lb car, mashing the brake pedal at 135mph at a race track, no issues. Then again, it may have been the racer's tape that I had over the lenses that held them in place
