I have removed airbag and steering wheel few times. You need 24 wrench, Philips screwdriver and long 8 wrench. There are two screws (I don't remember which kind, but 90% for Philips, maybe torx) from the bottom of airbag, you can lose the cable and turn off the 24 nut. From the bottom of black plastic "box" you have a hole - you can lose whole cluster with 8 wrench. Now you have to lose few screws to remove box.
After whole operation you have to erase airbag fault. Good luck

The screws are torx for the airbag.
Disconnect the battery first, and wait a few minutes, there should be no error code if you assemble everything before reconnecting the battery.

Airbag/steering wheel work always scared the crap out of me.
That explosive charge potentially turning any tool in hand (at the time) into a close-quarters projectile.
(i.e., good, old-fashioned cranial screwdriver skewerings give me the heeby-geebies.)
Be careful, compadres.
