Default Project Shrek: New Interior.

A customer of my mechanic had a unhappy accident that destroyed his black/black C4 with sport seats and full leather

I kind of wanted a black interior for Shrek, the light beige being past its best.

Hmmmmm....

Bingo. It took us 3 hours to take the whole interior out. Seats are in very good condition, the interior is really full leather, including door panels, door handles, pocket lid, rear side panels, rear shelf. The works.
Some work wil be needed to modify the shelf for the rear wiper, refit the original speaker grilles off my car, and a general thorough cleanup.

I also got the missing rear light and bumper beam off the wreck. Now *all* I need to source is the license plate lights, which are cheap enough from the dealer.

Congrats on nice turbo seats. Now you just have to order a full carpet set from Lakewell in Belgium. Is it possible to bay some small stuff from this wreckage?
Cheers from Sweden

H Polman,
The rest of the wreck is spoken for. I only bought all that is leather and carpet, plus a few small items. I got the complete carpet set and will reuse it in my car.
BTW they are sport seats not necessarily turbo seats.

OT: That wreck's 'reverse' tail lights, having a distinct green tinge, remind me of Ruf's treatment.
Was that black car a Ruf? Or, Ruf-optioned?

No Ruf options. The red lens is broken away, revealing the inner parts of the reverse lights that have a blue-green hue.

AFAIK 964's were delivered with comfort seats or sports seats.
Sport seats and turbo seats are the same.

What's more turbos did not necessarily come with sport seats.

-part electric,
-full electric,
-lumbar support,
-heating,
-faces leather, back vinyl,
-back and sides leather (or vinyl), centers fabric,
-full manual (though these are bastard seats, sports backs with std bases) as on the RSA

All these were options that could be specified when ordering your new 964.

Good buy!
IMHO sport seats make all the difference in the world.

They are a great seat, I'm actually starting to like the ones in my car better than my old early car's sport seats (blasphemy, I know).

Hi Tom,
As much as I like the early ones, with the time I have spent in all the different sport seats, these are the best of them all, even better than the hard shelled 993/996 ones.
Now if only I had them with heat...
