Default 993 lights in the 964?

Has anyone attempted to do this?

I searched but nothing came up.

964 = bad lights at night etc right?

The 993 has projector headlights which we could legally fit xenon lamps in, yes/no?

I don't think it would work and even if they physically fit, the 964 light bucket is fare more straight than the 993. They would aim the ground. I presume you have the H4 but what kind of bulb do you have ?

You would probably hv to also buy 993 fenders... that's how this 968 owner did it.

I have ~3 more photos of this 964 I can readily share. Let me know if you'd like to see them...

On the other hand, a 964 owner could fit a set of those cool headlights that the Singer has.

As noted above, the 993 front bucket angle is shallower than the 964's, and forced the engineers to do a complete re-design of the lens and reflector. The low beam lens / reflector unit is compatible with HID's, but not the high beam. The stock H1 low beam is not really adequate to the task, so the HID upgrade is popular.

That looks really good. Any tips on how you fit them?

Anybody know if the 993 rear lights/centre reflector fits the 964?

From the look of the general design of both cars, I don't believe that any of the lights from a 993 will fit a 964 as a plug and play type thing.

No, the rear bodywork of the 993 is very different. I was taking apart mine a couple of weeks ago expecting to find everything practically the same as the 964 but it is not at all alike. Even if you just compare the two cars side by side, the 964 tail lights are much lower.

Yeah, I know the 993 lights sit higher, but was hoping to somehow incorporate the more slanted/streamline 993 lights into a 964 rear end....I find the rear bumper of the 964 sticks out a bit too much. Maybe a smaller bumper cover without hacking away at the bumpers?
