not sure the rears will fit the 964 profile, i would also get widebody bumpers and skirts to suit...

Why not knock up some photoshops of what it would look like first?

You can convert a 964 to a 993 RSR (extra-wide body) using Getty Design fiberglass bits. It allows much bigger wheels/tires (I run 11" and 13" slicks f/r).

It's great for a track car. I would not use fiberglass panels on a street car as they are too fragile - you can not lean on them with impunity and they get damaged from stones (paint stars). Also, it greatly increases the aerodynamic profile and drag is increased. Make sure you need wheels that wide before you sacrifice that much on the straights.

The Getty Design parts are very robust, I have them on my racing car and would not hesitate to use them on a street car. If you install the factory fender liners, they won't get damaged by stones. The conversion is much more than the obvious body parts (fenders, qtrs, bumpers). The real costs are the small parts underneath, rocker panels, wheels, moving of the front suspension from inboard to outboard, etc.

interesting, the BBS at the rear could do with 295 minimum really, 265 look a tiny bit to narrow... it was just a thought, while replacing, why not go wide.

inboard to outboard up front is easy enough wont cost anything.

rear, i guess spacers for now until i come across a pair of arms.

undecided, may just repair what i have here for now... hmmmm.

Oh yea? What about turbo tie rods for the extended width, RSR front sway bar that is wider than the narrow body version, RS drop links to work with the RSR front sway bar?

Just think of that extra drag and weight you'd be carrying. I thought everyone knew NB's are quicker
