I did this myself a few years ago. It was a fun and educational process. Did a lot of cleaning while I was in there too.
Word of advice, do your research on this site and make sure you order all your parts and have them in hand before you start, or it will take longer than expected. Some parts may need to come from Germany.
I used Bilsteins and H&R Greens. I told the shop that did my alignment and corner balance to set it up to RS specs and I think that is what they did.
The top nuts for the front shocks require a Hazet socket or a home made type.

Thank you very kindly, Ceby. I have been combing through Rennlist, but I did not come across the threads you listed. I took a quick scan through them and they look to be extremely helpful.
