Default Front License plate lost/stolen need new bracket...

The entire plate went missing last week. Not sure if some pothole or junkie got away with it, but the bracket, plate and nice Porsche frame is gone!

Just two empty holes in the bumper cover.

I ordered a new plate from the DMV ($10).

Anyone have a bracket F/S? I need all the hardware as well..
How does the thing attach through the bumper anyways?!

I DO like the look of the front without a plate...maybe I should just leave it off, or is that asking for trouble with the law?

I have two of those sitting in my garage from Porsches past. Never ran a front license plate on any of my Porsches and never had a problem with the cops in NY. YMMV.

Ilko - no cop 'problems', huh?... ...your avatar might sway a different perspective.

(and a "Ho-ho-ho" to you!)

I am tempted to leave it off. I have Vermont plates, but do 90% of my driving in NY, so chances are I will be fine.
