Default Project Shrek: slow progress

I went to my mechanic today to deliver some parts for the car, and the Bosch Hammer that will be used on it as well.

He got the car on stands, and started sorting the front trunk. A good fuel tank is going in (couldn't locate an RS one), then fuse box and smaller ancillaries. After that, engine fan/alternator. He then plans on connecting the rear lights and start it up, to confirm it actually runs.

When that is done (likely mid january), the brakes will follow, then finally bodywork.

I most likely scored a complete black leather interior with heated sport seats, for a song, off a crashed car. I will then have 2 sets of sport seats... I also found 2 9X16 D90s that are being refinished. I now have 7&8 for winter and 7&9 for summer.

Delivery date is set for april. I don't think we'll manage earlier than that.

Pics as of today:

You know the inside of the wheel well is the same as body color under all that dirt!
