time to move on... and thanks
the day has finally come, my beloved daily driver is up for sale.
('92 C2 Cab, Midnight Blue)
I've moved to a Cayenne and the 964 is collecting dust!
I always felt Porsche's were meant to be driven, not garaged.
So it is time to pass the 964 to someone who will keep her on the road.
My gratitude goes out to *everyone* who ever contributed to a 964 thread.
I don't take time to contribute much, but whenever I have a question, or the 964 hosted a new gremlin, I always search here first. What a fantastic resource. Thanks to everyone!
some of my more memorable search nuggets from the forum:
- pre-purchase education way back in Y2K !
- fix gas tank filler neck.
- change wipers to pass side park
- distributor vent.
- disable pass side air bag (so the toddler could ride)
- find a mid-rise lift for the garage.
- locate (various) wiring harness bugs
- rotate speedometer 90 degrees CCW
It has been great getting to know your cars - best of luck to all!
