hey guys, my friend has a problem with his brake lights that don't work when the lights are on, the brake lights work if the lights are off. Also the third brake light stays on with the lights on. I was thinking his headlight switch might be the culprit, anyone experience this?

Sounds like the wiring is misconfigured. Has this car been in any accidents or had its wiring altered?
