Jäger with your car in the line up it is great to see the evolution of the speedster.
I love the split grill on your car, I wish they made one for a 964.
Here is a picture I had on my wall in high school, I cut it out of a car magazine a long time ago .
I recall the article was about PPG paint colors. I have loved speedsters for a long time.
but have settled for a cab so that I can take my two boys along for rides

John-- Great ad photo! I can see why that would be a motivational poster.
Reminds of a 964 thread when I was Looking for this poster...

Pesonally, I luv the contrast of the 964 deck. IMHO, it gives it a more functional look for something immediately above the engine.
Additionally, it adds to the rear placement of the engines that 911s, 356s, etc., are renown for!
I came very close to painting mine in a contrasting color because I like the look so much.
Speaking of Porsche evolution, that photo on the previous page happened to capture the engine grills of 356s, classic 911s, 993s, 997s...
Here's another that adds in the 964's

I had the pleasure of meeting Jager this weekend. True class act! I competed with him in the 993 class and remember telling my dad of the awesome car I had seen on the drive earlier in the day. He quickly reminded me I’d be competing with that car in a couple hours. I told him if I were going to lose the People’s Choice to anyone, I couldn’t have lost to a nicer guy. Thanks for showing off your car at Palooza Jager it was a crowd pleaser. Hats off to you sir, it was a pleasure meeting you as well!

Great event, great Porsches, & great new friends. I definitely felt fortunate that "Speedy" was awarded first place -- not only were 993s like yours amazing, but there were more there than any other type of Porsche ... >35 registered. I hope future Paloozas give more awards to categories with a large # of entrants, instead of just 1 trophy per class. I also hope to see more 964s & their owners there: only ~5 pre-registered this year.
Your first post -- welcome to Rennlist! Any photographs of your ride to share?
Speaking of Palooza & photos: check out this thread on the 993 Forum, which the following photo's from: "Porsche (PCA) Palooza..... Pictures:"
P.S. I just tried to send you a private message or e-mail, but your profile's currently not accepting either. Please let me know how to best send you more pix; I think I have some good ones of your 911
