Default WTB: Rear lenses and ctr reflector

Hello All,

I am looking for both L&R rear lenses and the center reflector for my 1991 C4. The ones on the car are cracked, falling apart, and collecting water. This is causing quite an issue with the brake lights etc.

Thanks,
John

No kidding.... after you see what they cost, yours might not look that bad for a few more years...

Vertex has them- center light $398, left and right $259 each.

A few years ago I bought new rear lights for my car and was being **** and thought they should be darker red...side by side there was no difference from new (guess I was wrong)! I put the new one's in and sold the originals on ebay for almost as much as I paid new (turned out they were mint)...

look up some of the posts on tinting or installing clear vinyl on your taillights. Apparently you can get good results and save $$.

I replaced all three of mine through Sunset. They had the best price at ~$700.

A cracked taillight lens is cause for inspection failure here in MA. Not unreasonable seeing how easily water seeps through to short out the bulbs.

Thanks Nick, I will try sunset. You are correct, I am routinely draining them of water and forced to change bulbs. It really isn't an issue of cosmetics; last thing anyone needs is to be driving around some evening and get pulled over for a taillight!

they are stupidly expensive...

Center one is 316.41, side lenses 199.20 ea, in stock. Brand new they aren't as red as you might think, here's a picture. On quote 66004, thanks, Jeff. Plus shipping of about 30-40 dollars, big box for all these together and protected.

If they are not cracked then painting them is not only very easy but looks BETTER than new.
