Darryl,
The local Porsche club meets every Saturday. Pretty informal with 5 to 15 cars, usually a great assortment and very nice people. The first Saturday of the month Italia Club (car and Motos) also swing by, plus lots of GT40s, Corvettes, hot rods, British cars. They meet at Briarcreek (Hwy 540/Hwy 70).

If you are coming by for this, you should also meet up with the Cary C&C group also.

This is a fun group that also goes for a spirited drive... then you can go to the 540/70 C&C afterwards. Two groups for the price of one. Give me a heads up if you plan to make either event? We 964s need to stick together! You've got a great car! Best, Udo

Did a great run with a 930, a 355, a 360, a 430, a Gallardo, an Exige S, and a EVO660 996TT. Was an absolute blast!

Had our first P-COW gathering in a month or two. (our local Porsche club)
Afterward we hung out in the founder's garage smoking cigars and planing his engine drop for his 356. Also got to welcome a new member who just picked up a Boxster S. He'll have to let me drive his car (initation you know!).
Besides that I got to burn a few laps at the MX track, great fun and quite a workout.
