I called Sunset and they suggest replacing the front lower locking mechanism and both the top and bottom rear locking mechanisms because my 1990 had the older 911 style latches. Even if I purchase all the hardware there is no guarantee that it’s a straight replacement, the parts were not superseded. They also couldn’t guarantee that the clamp (911 511 067 00) had two holes however that little screw/clamp is $15.


Surly someone with an 89-91 964 has done this. Right now the only option I see is trying to get both cables in the same hole – not the best option.
