Default Blower motor

Mine is making that vibrating grinding noise. Can it be disabled by just unplugging it till I fix it or will that cause problems?

Thanks

Which blower motor? The one in the rear or one of the two in the front?

Pull the fuse, it's in the engine compartment. I have the same problem. You really don't need the blower.

I disconnected the plug at the rear. I get plenty of heat when I need it, without the blower anyway. I plan to add the plastic bypass at some point.

Anyone here have the RS piece they don't want anymore for sale?

I've been told that the blower is also here to avoid too hot air from heaters coming up into the plastic cover.
But honestly I don't know if it's actually possible since the main engine fan always blows into the heaters... except if you use the bypass.
