Its not a shop manual, but it covers just about everything that the shop manuals don't. I highly recommend adding it to your library. Don't expect it to be the one book you open and find a lot of shop specs, though. It does explain systems management and operation.
My only beef is that I bought mine new from Amazon and the binding was terrible. The book started falling apart on the very first read in my office.

I'll second amr89c4's comment. It's not really a DIY manual more of an informative book. I purchased both it and the "Porsche Carrera 911 1989-1994 Technical Data- Without Guesswork"
