The Maritime car was owned by a buddy of mine Adrian who was the secretary of the PCGB 964RS register for a while. He was the one who got me into 964 engine tuning back in 1999 after sampling the performance of my modified 3.2 Carrera. Adrian sold it on to the present owner who "sanitised" the car to his requirements for continental track days, including fitting the a/c, sound deadening, new carpets and stock intake manifold in place of the throttle bodies. It is one of the best 964RS's available today with some interesting history to boot.
Hope your new Cup car brings you a lot of enjoyment. I would definitely take it on track at some point though because that is all it was made for, even if you only drive it at 9/10 it will then make sense why people still rave over these 911's as the ultimate driving experience.
