Hi y'all,

So my driver seat isn't as comfortable as my passenger seat; the previous owner was a big dude and I think he wore the seat out a bit. It's so uncomfortable that it make the car hard to drive long distances. Have any of you dealt with this or know some good options to making this a better experience?

And BTW, I have played extensively with the controls to make it as good as it can be, so be sure I tried all those options.

I know it would probably be a lot of work but how bout changing the cushions around and make the passenger's ride uncomfortable.

Have you considered talking to an upholstery shop? Perhaps they have an easy fix. I used to live in the bay area and had good luck with Bascom Trim & Upholstery (no affiliations).

I replaced my seats with a set of Recaros... Now I look forward to long rides... I will post a DIY as soon as I can put it all together.

Should be plenty of used seats in better shape around for not much money. I'd offer up, but the only non-RSA or sport seats I have around are some tan ones from a '92 targa.

Thanks for the relies guys. I'll check out the shops and see if it's easier to swap cussions or buy a new one.

What kind/model of Recaro seats did you use tbennett017?
