As has been said many times before, the cars aren't for everyone (that's understood)...but I can appreciate the effort these guys put into their cars, and there's always a neat item or mod when you look close.
!
also a big fan of nakai san's work (even more so since my wife & i visited him few wks back). he basically does all the body work himself (& while he has some tuning background from his racing background/drifting days) engine work, suspension for the most part is farmed out to other indy's that he has a working relationship with. his super wide flares are his own design & manufactured only for him....he considers the design proprietary & will not permit resale of it as a bodykit.
we hope to see him race next month (in the infamous stella artois).

my favorites are his dd's (993 & behind that a seriously quick older AMG "e" series mercedes...("our taxi" back to train station)

Despite all the excessive 964 eye candy, I still like this one the best:

If its a 911, in any state...it's worth looking at. I'm partial to this picture below (maybe because it's the fastest color)...bet this car has done quite a few Ring laps!

raspberryroadster,
I didn't comment on your earlier Rauh visit thread, but big thanks for sharing that visit with us. A lot of people (areo mirror and cup 1 wheel crowd) don't get these cars, but I love his spirit. Your thread was a really nice story, thanks for sharing!

John,
Been wanting to tell you that I absolutely love that frontal shot of your car at speed going around a corner in Total 911 - 964 Carreras head for Wales (Issue 70). Great article that really shows the spirit of our group run adventures....where ever they be around the world.

Jetta, thanks for the pics- I'm in the 'cup 1 wheel' crowd (despite currently running rufs!) but could (ok, do) spend hours looking through pics of 911's of any variation!

Especially like the matt grey/gloss red look above, would be interesting seeing how it'd look on one of our 'less-modified' cars though!
