Classic Elbeee. But for French authenticity, someone should PhotoShop in some hair in those armpits...

What manly pasttime would be complete without scantily clad women? I mean, seriously.

Ah but those lovely ladies were all American, I remember how uncool I was taking the shot, drooling etc. trying to chat them up with zero success.

Still good to see that nothing much has changed, except now of course the Hawaiian Tropic Girls no longer grace Le Mans with their brand of charm.

I have to say that they are several of us involved to degree or another at SpeedHunters, I get to talk about the old days.................

Porsche content can be located by this link:

http://speedhunters.com/archive/tags...e/default.aspx

Then dive in for much Porsche goodness..............from current road car stuff to a look back to the GT1 98 or 917s at Spa.

Porsche was the subject of our first monthly theme back in September 2008, we visited the Leipzig factory and made a heap of posts from there.

Comments and criticism are always welcome.

Speedhunters.com recently added more Rauh Welt content to it's site...

pics from a recent gathering, Rauh Welt Begriff Meet

Crazy over the top cars, but you've got to love their spirit!

Speedhunters is a good blog, we enjoy it frequently at our office. I have some great desktops courtesy of the crew at Speedhunters.

Don't think a lot of rennlist members will like the Formula D coverage as much as some of the great stuff right now like a recent trip to C&C Just my .02.

Keep it up Speedhunters, like the recent blog about 24 hr Dubai!

Speedhunters keeps pumping out interesting Porsche content. (non-Rauh Welt)

As has been said many times before, the cars aren't for everyone (that's understood)...but I can appreciate the effort these guys put into their cars, and there's always a neat item or mod when you look close.

Here's a link to two recent new blog feature stories:

Rauh Welt Begriff meet: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011...t-wrap-up.aspx
RWB Sunburst: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011...-sunburst.aspx

And of course some pics!
