This is what the Kelley Blue Book private party places the value at. On the second tab of the actual ad.

Excellent: $14,680.

Maybe, just maybe He's not really trying to sell his Porsche. As stated earlier, He might have told the wife, or ex-wife that He's putting the car up for sale. He never made a promise that He's be actually selling it...

....so are there regulations against importing cars there?
there are exceptional examples (virtually all low mileage) of older/classic porsche in japan (porsche/bmw/daimler heaven!) usually far better maintained than american cars and rust free..........
only by way of example this 95 993 c4 (turbo look) with 49,000km for US equivalent $36,000. full p.p.i in japan will run about $800 and container shipping approx $3000

or this 90 c2, with 47,000km likely pick it up for about $37,000

Jamaica has very strict car importation laws. You can only import a car that's 5 years old. Therefore all older cars have a very high premium. Porsche's in Jamaica are a luxury and therefore command unrealistic prices.

The prices of 964's wont be going up anytime soon. I am a huge 964 fan, to me they're the best bang for the buck but they're not going up in value for a long time.

On the car which is the subject, who knows maybe he's been hitting the crack pipe.

This is my favorite eBay hopeful at the moment. Funny his bidding only got 16K:

The best part is:
Question and Answer
Q: Hi, 14000.- $ buy it now !! ?? Regards, Jörg
A: Jorg - You must not know the approximate value of a Porsche like this. Your offer is a slap in the face. Never ever contact me again. You will never find a car ANYWHERE similar to this one for the price I'm willing to accept. Go find yourself a 14k 91' Carrera...You will have multiple problems that with that car, which you probably deserve. I would rather sell it to a dealer than a bottom feeder like yourself. See ya DH

Guess it's time to dump the "Jörg", pull out my other alias, "Oleg", and bump it up to $15k this time.

" my car has never been driven in the snow/winter"

clearly the 4th picture from the top, shot of the 'backside' shows snow on the side of the road does it not?

Clearly you were not supposed to see that in the picture . A little 'false advertisement' to market your product goes along way until your busted..

It snowed two weeks ago here in Colorado. Hardly winter...
