Question about front wheel bearing installation
I'm in the process of replacing the front wheel bearings on my 92 C4. I have 2 new *** bearings. The bearings have a slightly rounded/beveled shoulder on one side of the outer sleeve (as seen in the attached picture)
I assumed this shoulder was to assist with starting/orienting the bearing while its being pressed in. Well, as luck would have it, I managed to install one bearing one way and one the other way.
Does this matter?
On the bright side, I guess this means that at least one is installed correctly.
Thanks for your help!!

As long as you pressed it in correctly and all the way in you should be fine.
