went on the fall tour with the club Saturday morning. Had a great few hrs driving, but had to cut out early to do a high school senior portrait session. Then worked later that night and then block party/getting drunk session Saturday night. I NEVER drink to get drunk, but we have this thing around here called apple pie. It's like cider, but they put everclear into it and you just get stupid drunk There was no food left when I got to the block party, so I drank on an empty stomach. Maybe that's best, cuz most of it would have come back up later.

So anyway, I didn't even grab my camera for the tour- no pics. We had 28 cars for the driving. A good mix of 911 and Boxsters, with a 914 thrown in too.

Good fun this weekend. I got to take the pcar out for a few drives to nowhere; the best drives are to nowhere IMHO.

Sunday was home home on the range… the gun range that is. It is always fun to help complete novices go from enthusiastic yet slightly intimidated on a .22 pistol to confident with a .45 in the span of a few hours.

 

OTOH, Anywhere is somewhere in a pcar...
Any other car? ...is nowhere if you have somewhere (to be)...

Met up with a fellow 964 Rennlister and went for a drive through the highlands. The country is on a 4 day weekend and the roads were basically empty and the skies were clear.
