Love that car. Awesome build and unbelievable attention to detail.

Really want the hvac system - so clean and unobtrusive.

What exactly is that piece that replaces the HVAC unit? Just a blower for ambient air? Or does it have some heat element in there too?

My understanding is that it is AC.

Porsche obsessions must run in your family! I remember discussing Singapore cars with you many years ago. My two 964s are ex Singapore. A C4 and a Turbo 3.6. The latter is about to be re-exported to the UK from New Zealand.

John and Vandit, the AC system was further modified some 18 months back with the addition of a condenser unit across half the width of the RS America tail. Our Singapore weather is just too brutal for the system as originally put together by Roadsleeper. Let me try and post a pic

Condender on right, left side is a custom shroud to prevent water from dumping (it rains real heavy here!) on the engine

John McM, our loss that such a beautiful car like the 3.6 turbo left Singapore so long ago. Didn't you also have a ex Spore RUF at some point?

There are many Singapore cars hidden away in NZ garages. We don't see them for sale often nowadays.

I have had the Turbo 3.6 since 2001. It was imported from Singapore in 1999. I never received much of its history from there. Stuttgart gave us basic servicing dates but we never found out why it was colour changed from Horizon Blue Metallic to Polar Silver. It was a very thorough job that no one in New Zealand would have done.

My other car is a white C4. Less remarkable than the Turbo 3.6. It has RUF suspension and brakes.
