ah .. ok ... a bit concerned now. Had thought this was very common and an easy fix... will get it checked before purchase. Thanks v much!!!

Does anyone have a ballpark figure for what the cost is to fix the rust spot under the windscreen?

That looks really really nice. Since my Cab is mostly for just tooling around and not racing, I might have to look into a setup like that.

If they remove the screen without breakin it then id guess at £200-400.
A new screen is about £300ish.

I had a similar repair done last year, cost £200 to paint/repair round the screen edge.
