Default proper fluids and best resources?

I have a 94 c2 - Is there a preferred fluid for brakes / clutch? Also, I would like to pick up a single coil wire, dist cap and clutch slave - any recs on resources?

Also, it seems my AC condensation pools under the front of the car, does that seem normal? i thought all the hardware was inthe back of the car? If not the Ac, any excplenation for why I have water pooling under the front of the car?

ATE blue or gold for brakes and clutch slave (same system)
AC pisses out the front

The part of the AC system where water collects on the cold bits ,
where the refrigerant is let go from the high pressure to the cooling lower pressure
is just ahead of the dash .
The AC pump compresses the refrigerant and send the refrigerant to a nozzle that sprays the refrigerant into a heat exchanger . Its this spraying that causes the refrigerant to "cool" .
The heat exchanger is cooled and the air flowing over the cooled heat exchanger is cooled and when it is cooled water drops out , condenses on the surface of the heat exchanger . This water runs off off the heat exchanger and needs to be dumped overboard .

AC in a nut shell .
The pump compresses the refrigerant .
When the refrigerant is compressed it heats up .
The heat of the compressed refrigerant is dumped over board via a radiator .
The cooled compressed refrigerant is sent to a nozzle to be spray out to a lower pressure .
The release of pressure drops the temperature of the refrigerant .
The lower pressure refrigerant goes back to the compressor to be compressed again .

Vertex is a sponsor of this forum and not a bad deal .

Your brake parts are made by ATE ,
they make some good brake fluid .
Blue ATE is blue in color .
When you use it to flush the Gold ATE ,
you can see the change in color when the new color starts coming out the bleed nipple .
If you have a system full of blue , you can then buy the gold and do the same color change indication check .

Good stuff guys, thanks. I do understand the function of of AC units - I just thought that it would drop from behind the car, not front. I didn't realize the number of parts forward of the dash.

Thanks!
